Programming Live Music on Hold over IP

Overview

Live Music on hold (MOH) over IP plays live music over the internet for callers placed on hold. The following music sources accept a SIP or IP set DN as an IP music source:

Existing MOH functionality for other types of music sources (analog, digital, and embedded) also apply to IP sources.

Programming

To program Live Music on Hold over IP:

  1. User and Services Configuration form

  2. Add a new user as a SIP device. Ensure that SIP Device Capabilities, Class Of Service (COS) options and any other required parameters are configured according to the settings provided in the device's SIP Interop guide.
